Dual Adjustability - People come in all sorts of shapes and sizes. Chances are that the person you share a bed with is not the same shape or size as yourself. You may prefer a firm mattress while your sleep partner prefers a soft mattress. There's no need to compromise. A Comfortaire® mattress allows both sleep partners to individually adjust each side of the bed to their desired setting. Unlike traditional mattresses consisting of metal innersprings, Comfortaire® uses patented air technology to provide support which can be easily adjusted with the touch of a button.

Edge-to-Edge™ - Comfortaire's patented Box-Top design is further enhanced by our Edge-to-Edge™ adjustability. The air chambers in our Box-Top mattress go all the way to the edges of the mattress. This allows you to enjoy full adjustability over the entire surface of the mattress. The "industry standard" design has 4-inch sidewalls surrounding the air chambers which reduces the adjustable sleeping surface by 8 inches in a queen size mattress. As a result, approximately 15% of the sleeping surface is not adjustable.

Box-Top Air™ - We introduced our basic air bed design nearly 30 years ago and today it remains the industry standard. With this design, the deep filled air chambers can be over-deflated which may result in loss of critical support of the mattress. While this design is functionally adequate and adopted by our competitors, it left room for improvement. Our extensive design research led to the creation of the Box-Top Air™ design. This patented design overcame the issues inherent in the industry standard design and enhanced the benefits of sleeping on air.
