With my travel mixups and the shipping of my bed I was a bit concerned. I called customer support, Kara called me back within minutes, needing managerial approval, she called you, and within hours I now have your full response with all the actions you have already taken to address the mixup. I was not sure such prompt, courteous, and professional customer service existed anymore! I hope you will use my experience as some type of customer “testimonial” to the benefit of your potential customers.

Best Purchase Ever
Just wanted to pass along we received our mattress yesterday, set it up with no problems. Last night was the first night in months and months my wife and I both slept the entire night with no tossing and turning and NO BACK PAIN. Highly recommend this to everyone!

My wife and I have owned the same Comfortaire Cal King for 11 years and still love it like it was brand new. We've even move to three different states during this period and the bed remains simple to de-install for shipment and re-install for setup. We'd recommend this bed to anyone who really cares about a good night rest. It's the real thing!

Wow! I ordered a comfort single queen mattress on July 29,2011, and received it August 2, 2011, with 2 of those days being on the weekend. I put it up that night, and had the best night sleep I have had since my old air mattress gave up the ghost. I didn't even have to play with the buttons! I am a seamstress, and while I was putting the zippered top on, I noticed the quality of the sewing on the whole topper.So far I am very impressed, and I think I will stay that way. I switched ordered parts, today, out of an old Celenia model. Instead of memory foam I opted for the synthetic latex and also ordered the "shell" with a pillow top. The bed is as good or better than when originally purchased 10 years ago. I couldn't be more thrilled! Thank you for the wonderful warranty and great customer service. Comfortaire beats it's competition hands down and has my highest recommendation.

It's rare these days to find someone that actually takes the time with a customer and when I spend $1500 plus I expect a little bit of question answering. she was very good and I asked allot of questions. I slept on it last night and got a great nights sleep. My back even felt better that it has from my 2 year old Beauty Rest. I am hoping that it does the job for me and I would be happy to report back to you from time to time, but be careful if you accept because you r only getting the truth.

Ordered our "comfort" bed on July 2nd and received it on July 8th much quicker than expected. Set up took less than an hour and our first night sleep was stupendous. We purchased only the mattress and set it up on our Ikea bed frame using plywood for a base. This was a great value for us as we are on a tight budget. The ordering process was super easy. I am glad I found Comfortaire Direct.

Her name is Melissa Mabry, and she is perhaps the most responsive sales person I've dealt with on-line -- for ANY kind of purchase. Just as important, her written communications are clear, concise, and highly informative. The fact that you are writing me speaks very well for the intentions of your company. Both my wife and I are sleeping very well. The advantage of knowing the actual pressure instead of a general number probably makes it easier to adjust pressures. I still don't think the control is accurate,but it works well enough where we are quite happy. I can say, however, with strong conviction, that not having the center foam strip that we had on our previous Select Comfort bed is fantastic. Not onlly does it enlarge the "target" sleeping area, but it also makes for a better appearance to the bed, as well as a better nights sleep. My wife used to complain about having to be careful about sitting on the edge of the bed because the rest of the bed would lift up around her. No Longer! Not only that, she has found that a lower pressure is much more comfortable. Because one can change the pressure just a little, it's much easier to find that "just right" spot.

I just want to thank you for such a wonderful product! My husband and I recently bought a king-size Bella, and after sleeping on it for 3 weeks now, I have to tell you that we both are in love with this bed, and it has made such a difference in our sleep, and how our backs feel in the morning. I also would like to thank Debbie for all the time she spent on the phone with me, so patiently answering my many questions, phone call after phone call. We at one time had a sleep number bed, and we see now that they in no way compare to your product, and I am trying to get that information out on Facebook to my many friends that have the same condition that I have. Our new bed replaced a memory foam mattress, and that thing just about ruined our backs (so much for hype). I wish you would advertise on TV.... you have an amazing product, and I think it's a shame that many people have never even heard of Comfortaire. You need to get the word out! Thanks again SO much for such a wonderful product! I'm singing your praises from the proverbial rooftops of Facebook!

I received my new Comfort bed and am very pleased with my purchase. The instructions were easy to follow and it took less than an hour to assemble.

WOW! You guys are good. Ordered on Thursday delivered to Texas on Wednesday. We ordered the Premier split king. This is our 3rd Comfortaire. After about an hour assembly, I enjoyed sleeping thru the night and I don't sleep all night. We had returned a Latex mattress because it was killing my back. I'm so glad to be back on a Comfortaire. I have not yet received my order. So, I cannot comment on the product at this time. However, I can tell you that Melissa did an extraordinary job of assisting me with my decision to purchase from ComfortAire.
My original intention was to buy a Select Comfort product. However, Melissa very thoroughly convinced me that ComfortAire was the superior choice. Her timely, detailed, and accurate responses to my questions made the process easy.

I'm a long time customer of Comfortaire, and I'm happy to say that after 14+ years, my bed is just as comfortable as it was when I first purchased it! I still fall asleep immediately, (usually before remembering to turn off the TV), and no morning back ache. Ever. I do sometimes wake up a bit stiff, (from not shifting at all during the night), but I won't hold that against you! LOL! The customer service is spectacular. I once had to replace an air chamber when it developed a slow leak, and the replacement was rushed right out within a couple of days. Couldn't have been easier and the support staff was friendly and very helpful. My first air bed was a Select Comfort, and while it was more comfortable than a spring type mattress, there is a tremendous difference in quality between the Select Comfort and the Comfortaire. The Comfortaire is much better supported and the thicker padding in the pillowtop makes for a more luxurious bed. The stitching is better on the cover. The foam is thicker. It also costs less, although I noticed it's catching up a bit from when I purchased my first bed years ago. The main issue with the Select Comfort bed is the very flimsy foam divider that runs down the center of the king size bed. It doesn't really maintain its position if your partner sleeps with a softer mattress than you do. Basically, you'll spend the entire night trying to keep from rolling over into the crack between the chambers. I had to unwedge myself on a regular basis, and that doesn't make for a good night's sleep. If you are trying to decide between the two, by all means, go with the Comfortaire!

I purchased my comfortaire bed in 2008, I had a few problems with the foam topper, I can't say enough about customer service and how cooperative they have been in taking care of the problem. I recently had a problem with my pump and called customer service and again they helped me and are sending a new pump. I have not dealt with a company with such excellent customer service in a very long time. We have been so happy with our bed and Comfortaire's customer service that we bought a second bed for our guest room.

I just wanted to give you an update. I wanted to wait awhile, I had to get used to the way the bed works. The settings are a bit strange to get comfortable with, the "meter" showing the pressure fluctuates a lot. My memory settings don't always get to the right percentages, seldom with one touch. However, after adjusting and setting, the bed seems to be doing what it is supposed to do. And yes, it is probably the most comfortable bed I have ever owned. I love it! My wife is still playing around with her settings, but I am sure she will figure out what works best for her. I do at times think that the pressure decreases at night. I don't know that for certain. Overall, I am VERY satisfied with the bed, and I do enjoy more than a "modicum" of relief throughout the night.
Thank-you again for your care and service. All of my doubts and complaints have been addressed and set aside. You were MOST helpful and considerate. You are a credit to your sales team, thank-you so much for your help. The mattress protector came, and I appreciate you sending it.

I just wanted to give you an update after we have had the bed over a month and also thank you again for your assistance, as well as others in customer service.
I wanted to thank you for taking care of my matter promptly, courteously and professionally.
The telephone operators were knowledgable and had all the correct answers. I had done some research on mattresses and they were honest and not misleading in their responses or high pressure.
My wife and me are completely satisfied with our choice and couldn't be happier with our decision. After delaying this purchase for quite some time, we are definitely sorry we didn't buy one sooner.
I am never one to purchase something because a salesperson says "...because you deserve it.", (car salesman use this phrase all the time) but this may very well be the case in this instance. My wife and me are sleeping more restful and comfortably than we have in years.

Yesterday I talked to your agent Melissa and purchased a ComfortAire bed. I am looking forward to its arrival. I talked to someone there a couple of years ago & unfortunately lost the paper with her name. Both agents were very friendly and able to answer all of my multitude of questions. She's bragging again on how our bed is so comfortable and how Comfortairdirect...has their clients satisfaction as a top priority...We moved to a new development...by the look of some of the houses (much bigger than ours)..hopefully I can be your biggest salesman. The next door neighbors house is almost finished we met them and asked them if they wanted to try our bed....It was an truly an awkward moment....I will say one thing...you want your customers satisfied so at the very beginning especially if they order the split top...they should be told what to expect...pros and cons are ok...we love the single KING bed so much now and also...the latex makes a big difference...(we like firm and bouncy)...so again thank you...and hopefully your service can really show up on your bottom line.

I would like to cancel the foundation part of the purchase only. It's good to know that we can always order the base separately at a later date, if and when our old box spring gives out.

We purchased a Comfortaire bed in Feb. 2009 which was installed in March. In Feb. 2010 we had a problem. I called Comfortaire (per instruction of Jordan's Furniture) After the first test failed (using the plugs) it turned out to be the chamber. We received a replacement chamber and our bed is WONDERFUL again. I am so glad because we have recommended this bed to many people. I thank you very much for coming through. We received our bed on Monday as we had it shipped to a business in Sulphur Springs. It arrived late on Friday and since it was after my husband had already arrived home, he waited until Monday to pick it up rather than drive 40 miles back to get it. The 2nd twin foundation didn't arrive until Tuesday and since I work 150 miles from home and stay in Dallas during the week, we didn't get it assembled until Saturday.
What an ordeal, we first had to move our old Select Comfort mattress and foundation and a big wall bed to my guest room and then were ready to start assembling my new Comfortaire bed.
I have to say, the foundations were so easy, just unfold and they expand to the same depth as a regular box springs. This was very impressive. And then we started putting the mattress together. Since we had just unassembled the Select Comfort mattress I realized what a difference there was in all of the mattress and foam. The Select Comfort couldn't even compare to the workmanship in the Comfortaire mattress. The foam walls were at least double the size of the Select Comfort and were actually covered with a zippered fabric that could be taken off for laundering, the Select Comfort had about 1 to 2" strips of foam. I felt the Comfortaire mattress was a little harder to assemble, but that was because there was so much more padding.
We have slept on this bed now, for two nights. My husband likes his setting on 30 and I like mine on 97 and for the first time in years, I did not feel like I had to hang on to the side of the bed to keep from rolling on him. The center wall in the Select Comfort always made a big hill between us and now we don't have that problem. I slept all night both nights and didn't want to get out of bed this morning.
So far I am very pleased with the quality and comfort of my new Comfortaire bed.

THANK YOU so much! You reached out your hand and assisted me from the very beginning to the very end and I am recommending you to EVERYBODY! After I recieved the two Big boxes from Fed Ex. I opened both and layed everything out and found the direction book. Then I had to call you because I didn't know that the quilted mattress cover was actually three sections with two zippers. Ohhhh now that made sense. The people that answered the phone were just as patient as a mama with a child.
Now, I have a cute story that you may use to relate how relaxing the bed is. We got it all together and went to bed, but the first night didn't count cause that was Saturday into Sunday and we didn't get to bed till 4:00a.m. But Sunday night we set the alarm as usual cause it starts going off at 5:30a.m. and my husband hits the snooze several times and usually rolls out of bed around 6:15a.m. Luckily, one of his co-workers lives with us and my husband rides him into work. I thought I heard someone say "Rob are you going to work?" but thought that I was dreaming and then I heard it again so I looked at the clock and it was 6:45a.m. and Rob was springing to life, laughing cause he thought it was Sunday and he was dreaming about hitting the snooze alarm. We are both so happy with this bed! I am still searching for my number and I'm sure I will find it! I can't tell you enough how much we appreciate Everything that you did to help us with our new "mattress"

Hi - I am writing to tell you how happy I am with my Comfortaire Luxor mattress. I have had it for close to a year and I have never slept so well in my life. I am in my early 30's but have had a sensitive back since high school. I have had several high quality inner spring mattresses that felt great at first but quickly lost their support. After I added the foam internal divider to the Luxor it easily became the most comfortable bed I have ever owned. I can't explain how much it means to me to look forward to going to sleep on such a comfortable surface. For years i would add foam toppers, pillow top blankets, pillows and anything else to my bed that would cut the edge off of the pain I would feel when I woke up the next day. Flipping the mattress twice a month and even getting up in the middle of the night to sleep on the floor or the couch. All of that is gone and so is the fatigue I feel the next day from tossing and turning all night. Like I said, I am just one year in with my Luxor, but I have hope that this bed will be a high quality mattress for a long time and any time someone says they are looking for a new mattress I rave about Comfortaire. Thanks for making a great product and thanks for helping me love going to sleep again.

Christi was an excellent representative on 1/8/10 in assisting me in buying the perfect bed for me and my budget. Her friendliness and her ability to sound like a friend rather than telemarketer was very impressive. She knew the products up and down, and she was willing to listen to my negative experience in the Select Comfort store about the lady saying they were better and that they have been in business longer... Blah, blah, lies...
Lisa responded to my concerns about my bed being late on shipping on 1/22/10 . She responded to my email in less than 2 hours and resolved the situation. The situation was my bed was not here, and my BACK HURTS because of hand-me-down innerspring torture! She not only upgraded my mattress topper to memory foam, but she sent FED EX tracking soon after.
Keep it up and your are better than Select Comfort BTW.

Last week I recieved my comfortaire mattress.
We had one night when we could not get our air adjusted and did not sleep well. But since we finally found the correct settings, we have really experienced great sleep!! Thank you. I am just sorry we did not know about Comfortaire before. We had a select comfort bed for about 20 years and loved that, but it sagged in the middle and when I tried to firm it up to make it look better, we had a hard time getting it adjusted for sleep again. I also did not like the way the foam divider in the middle of our queen size made a "hump". I will not be sending our Comfortaire back,(even if I could stuff it back in the box!) Thanks again.

I am also sorry that the bed did not work out. I want to let you know that I have been very impressed with your company. I really appreciate the no nonsense, no pressure approach....very different than Select Comfort. I was dreading calling to return the bed thinking I would be hounded into keeping it longer. That was not the case at all. Jessica offered one possible adjustment to the bed to make it less "hot" but when I refused she was very professional and said no problem. Both my husband and I were very happy with the quality of the bed. Unfortunately the technology did not help my back.
I will certainly recommend the bed to anyone who asks me about it and anyone else in the future. We did a lot of research before buying this bed and truly felt that your bed was far better in many ways than your competators. I'm confident that we couldn't get a better air bed if we tried. So I am sure that no air bed would fit our needs. But I do have many friends who swear by them!
I will get the bed shipped back ASAP.

Thank you so much. We will always keep your company in mind and tell people how awesome your company is. I have spoke to so many people who have had family members who had massive strokes. They say that you can never tell they even had a stroke. I keep praying.
I have gotten him an appt with a heart specialist as he still has blood clots in the heart. I was told that his heart could have been damaged and we have to wait 3 months after a stroke to do any diagnostic heart procedure to see what is going on in there. I just want to get a second opinion to make sure we are doing all that can be done.
I appreciate your compassionate assistant and we will re-order the bed when Michael recovers. Ps: I am saving all the emails so Michael can see all the people who are pulling for him. God Bless

Thank you Lisa for your excellent customer service. As discussed on Saturday our package is finally put together and ready to go. We did use the original box which measures 42 X 18 X 22. However we were unable to fit two of the foam edges in the original box. So we placed in a contractor bag and taped it up. It measures 38 X 17 X 6. It is very lightweight. When you have a chance please send estimate and the labels to send it fed ex and we will drop it off at our nearest fed ex facility. Thanks again! Even though the mattress did not work out for us...your company is by far stellar in the customer service department! I would not hesitate to try another one of your higher end products sometime in the future!

I am writing to say thank you for helping me get my new bed. We have slept on it for a week now, and we absolutely love it! My back was much better after just one night....but it has taken us a week to get to the right adjustments of air for setting the memory. I have spent the past few months searching for a new mattress. I recently purchased a mattress from one of your competitors so I'm not looking for any special pricing. I wanted to let your company know that I recently visited a bedding store to look at and possibly purchase one of your mattresses. I had already looked at Select Comfort's product and wanted to compare. In fact, my parents had accompanied me to the Select Comfort store and became interested in perhaps purchasing a new mattress. I was looking for a queen sized mattress and my parents were looking for a split king sized with the adjustable foundations. Between the two beds, there was quite possibly a rather large purchase. We thought this store would be a better choice, as it is a small, "hometown" type dealer and I thought I would get better service. Boy was I wrong!
The sales lady was anything but friendly and spent the entire time I was there trying to convince me to purchase something besides an air mattress. She told me how much trouble they have had with your product, how the air chambers leak, the pumps go bad, and my expense is always around $175, regardless of the warranty provided by your company. She did not know how to make your mattress inflate or deflate, the company only carried about 3 of your lower end mattresses, and when I asked why, she said it was because of how much trouble they had with Comfort Aire mattresses. She never even priced out the mattresses. When she realized that I was still interested in an air mattress, she then tried to recant what she said with comments like, "Well, Comfort Aire has been better than our last air mattress company." I didn't have any faith in your product because of the way it was represented by this sales clerk.
I left the store feeling very confused and I cannot believe that this store is selling your product with sales people like her. As I stated, I have already purchased my mattress and I look forward to many years of enjoyment. I hope your company finds better stores and sales clerks to represent your product in the near future.

I just wanted to thank you for the great service and can't believe how fast you shipped my bed to me. I am thrilled, I've only slept one night on it and I am loving it already.
After buying the top of the line mattresses and being so very dissatified, it is so good to know that I have found the mattress for me. I have a very bad back... and this is going to work for me.
Also the pillows are great.... I had tried the memory foam before, but never really liked them. The sales person that helped me was Deb, I'm not sure what her last name was... but she was wonderful... and very helpful. Last but not least, I have a co-worker who might be purchasing one, and I have given him Deb's name...

I received my new Comfortair mattress last week and I wanted to tell you how pleased I am with your product! I ordered the King mattress for my motor coach to replace a top quality Sealy Posturpedic which had developed some slight sag. I am so pleased your product came assembled (I have heard stories of difficult setup with your competitor's). It fit perfectly in the space even had the rounded foot corners fit perfectly on the pedestal. I only had to drill one hole to run the air tubes in, plug it in and go! Best part, is I saved close to $500 over Sleep Number from Camping world and got free shipping and pillows, and paid no tax. Really a deal! The bonus is that within 3 days, I have woken up with no back pain. I travel full time in my coach and you can bet I will recommend it to anyone who asks. It really sells itself and your customer service people were superb. Thanks again! ps - Do you need a sales rep on the road?? :)

Ordered for my 89 year old mother as her first Comfortaire was getting well worn. Mom is well pleased with her second Comfortaire. She would not have any other kind. The pillows is wonderful as she was having neck and shoulder problems. Thank you for making her rest better.

Unfortunately the end result is that the bed is being returned, he sent it back this morning...
The foam did not make enough of an impact to help.. :(
He paid the $250 to ship it back very grumpily but it is on its way. I will provide tracking numbers when he sends them, at least dissasembly this morning was easier than set up!
I would still very much recommend your company as you are an A+ customer service.

I’d like to acknowledge the efforts of Donna, the customer support representative who assisted me with my recent order of a Comfortaire bed. We ordered our new bed only yesterday, so we can’t yet comment on the bed itself or the delivery process, etc., but I would be remiss if I did not note how helpful and informative Donna was on the phone with us. She addressed all our questions and concerns in a professional manner. Donna knows her stuff and is very personable. In today’s world of impersonal and poor customer service, Donna stands out as a shining exception.
